Lover, Rogue and Troubadour…
Born in Hawaii, raised and schooled in Texas, and then moving on to live in New York after studying music theory and composition at the University of Texas at El Paso, I’ve been a touring/studio musician and AFM member for over thirty years, with three international major label rock music album releases from 1982-1986, one with a New York based band, and two with a band from Toronto, Canada. Besides headlining concerts, and opening for national bands between 1975 and 1989 with five different rock acts, highlights of my career also include being voted the Top Keyboardist at the Buffalo Backstage Music Awards in 1982 and again in 1983. Between 1988 and 1991, I concentrated more on songwriting and arranging than live performance, having accumulated quite a collection of songs written and documented on the road from 1986-1988 which needed re-recording, editing, and mixing. In 1989, pre-production and tracking sessions began and lasted well into 1999, on and off.
My voice acting career began in 1998, after enrollment in the Voice Actor’s Workshop of Western New York. The release and promotion of my first voice demos ensued shortly thereafter, and booking work with national clients, including the NFL, G.E., Ford Motor Co., Blue Cross Blue Shield, Kodak, Raytheon Corp., Fisher Price, and Kaleida Health, among many others, soon followed. After years spent auditioning, honing my craft, developing new skills and garnering new relationships, I packed my bags and relocated to the Los Angeles area in 2007.
After setting up residence, I assembled a tracking and mixing facility, capable of electronically sending clean, finished voice and music files in many formats, to serve my ever changing and expanding global client base.
I’m very grateful for all the love and support I’ve received from family, friends, and fans, without whom my success wouldn’t have reached the levels that it has.
Yes, it’s been a long, eventful road I’ve traveled, a roller coaster ride of endless adventure, exhilaration, and excitement…laced with mishaps, trepidation, and regret. But through it all, I’ve been steadfast, unwavering, and determined, driving my will to assuage my doubts, maintaining purpose, conviction, and gaining knowledge and life experiences I could never have acquired elsewhere.
That said, I know my best years are yet to come.
